Green Lantern: The Bad Guys
There have been many Green Lanterns and there have also been many enemies. Here are some of the most memorable enemies that the Green Lantern has needed to face.
Parallax is one of the most terrifying villains of all time. He is very strong and can even change reality and completely control people’s minds. One of the favorite Green Lanterns, Hall Jordan, even became Parallax. This monster is as old as time itself and it depends on fear and hatred to survive. For many millions of years the Guardians were able to keep it dormant, but when it escaped it caused havoc.
Tattooed man was once just a sailor and petty criminal until he was exposed to some strange chemical. After this he had the power to create real objects from just chemicals. He tattooed his arms with this strange chemical concoction and now he is able to cause a lot more mischief than in the past. Tattooed man quickly came to the attention of more than one Green Lantern.
Evil Star was able to cheat death by somehow taking the energy from stars; he is now immortal. He also has superhuman strength and can fire powerful energy blasts.
The Gambler has become an expert at the art of gambling and he has also learnt a few other tricks along the way. He is great at firing guns, throwing knives and he is a master of disguise. He became bored with gambling after a while and decided that he wanted to enter the world of crime. It was then that he came to the attention of the Green Lantern.
