Justice League of America: Storyline
The story of the Justice League of American first appeared in the 1960s and there have been many variations of it since then. One reason for this is that the Justice League contains some of the most famous heroes of all time and these are well known in their own right. Superheroes like Superman, Wonder Woman, Batman, Flash, and the Green Lantern are all members of the Justice League of America; members of the organization have varied considerably over the years.
The Justice League of America originally came together for one mission; to save the Earth from Six aliens that were causing destruction. The mission went so well that they decided to stay around and help defend the Earth from the bad guys. The Justice League of America created a base in a secret cave near Rhode Island. From here they go on missions to defeat anyone that need sorting out. In later episodes this secret base became unsecure and so they needed to move. They also attracted more members so they needed bigger accommodation for this reason as well.
The Justice League fought the good fight for many years until they were eventually discredited by a nasty character called Darkseid. The group was forced to disband, but later many of the members created a new organization called the Justice League International which aimed to deal with more global issues.
