Justice League of America: The Good Guys
There is probably no other series that has produced as many good guys as the Justice League of America. Here are some of the original members of the team.
Superman spends most of his life living as Clarke Kent. He was born on the planet Krypton, but his home was destroyed when he was just a baby. He was sent to Earth where he was raised by the Kent family. The fact that he comes from the planet Krypton means that he has special super-human powers. He uses these special abilities to fight the bad guys when disguised as Superman.
The Martian Manhunter is an extraterrestrial humanoid from Mars who was brought to Earth against his will. He has no way to return to his home planet so he has decided to devote his life to tackling the bad guys. He takes on the identity of John Jones, but is able to use his special Martian powers to fight crime.
The Green Lantern is a wealthy business man who likes to wear a green costume when going to fight the bad guys. He has the ability to fire special arrows and he also has the green power ring that gives him special abilities.
Flash is a scientist who develops superhuman powers as a result of an accident while working in his laboratory. He develops superfast reflexes and the ability to run incredible fast. He decides to use his new talents to fight bad guys.
Wonder Woman comes from a different dimension where powerful Amazonian women rule. She loses her powers after deciding to stay on Earth and has to retrain to get them back again. As well as having great physical strength she also has great mental powers.
